The intent was to create a simple yet eye-catching landmark that attracts not only prospective pupils but also their parents.
The main idea that went into each aspect of the design was the pedagogical value of architecture and how the built environment plays a significant role in the development of a child’s learning during this important stage of life. The aspiration of the project was to create spaces for children to develop in an elevating, attractive and safe environment. The concern was to design the area with permeability and transparency to facilitate visual supervision of the children as a top priority.
The children’s cognitive and associative functions were one of the primary considerations in the selection of colours, materials, and patterns.
